Uses the Trend Micro™ Smart Protection Network™, one of the
largest threat intelligence databases, to correlate web, email, file, domain registries, and
many other threat sources to identify attacker infrastructures before they are launched.
Email Encryption
Trend Micro offer policy based encryption of the email transport layer (securing email communication from one email server to another) which is often known as "enforced TLS traffic to designate peers" as well as the ability to enforce the encryption of individual messages (often known as content encryption) all the way to users email boxes. The use of policy-based rules to automate the decision making process removes the need for the user to remember that an email contains sensitive or private content and that it must be sent securely.
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Provides visibility of sensitive data to help prevent unwanted data loss.
This is accomplished by leveraging the outbound email DLP capability which can inspect messages for sensitive information or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) such as credit card numbers, bank account details, Intellectual property or many other data triggers. When sensitive data is detected within an email an appropriate action can be taken on behalf of the user to avoid an unwanted or unintended loss.
End User Quarantine Control
